Six-line wrasse (Pseudocheilinus hexataenia)<\/p>\n

A peaceful marine fish that can be found in the reefs of the Indian and western Pacific Oceans. They inhabit depths from 1 to 35 meters. These fish have a diet consisting of mainly small crustaceans. They seem to prefer amphipods, copepods, lobster larvae, small shrimp, and fish eggs. They will also peck at rocks and sand for algae and parasites. They are well known for their vibrant rainbow coloration. The six-line wrasse are excellent for the most peaceful saltwater aquariums. These gorgeous fish can grow to about 3 inches. Their color becomes more vibrant in a reef aquarium, making them a staple fish for any marine hobbyist<\/p>\n

Pros:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Easy to feed frozen food and sometimes even flakes and pellets
\n\u2022 Six-line wrasse are relatively hardy and rarely get parasites since they eat the parasites themselves
\n\u2022 They look amazing
\n\u2022 Peaceful with most small fish They are reef safe!
\n\u2022 Rather inexpensive fish can be found under 50 dollars<\/p>\n

Cons:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Can become aggressive with other wrasses – especially other 6 line wrasse
\n\u2022 It is suggested to only have one, no matter the size of the aquarium
